Personalized one-on-one instruction

A teacher who can cater to all ages and skill levels

Creativity comes in many forms. Whether you are left handed, a retired hobbyist, or have no musical background, our teachers have you covered.

What we expect from you

Bring a positive “can do” attitude towards learning

Learning music should be fun.  Remember, you are in control of the experience.  If there is something you want to learn, just let us know.

Please arrive ten minutes before your lesson

We create schedules that fit our students’ lifestyles.  To keep the music going, we need you on time for your appointment.

Cancellation Policy

If the student is unable to attend a lesson appointment, we are able to offer a make-up lesson provided that we receive notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.   We are unable to offer any make-up lesson for an appointment that is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, including situations where attendance is not possible due to illness.  Our teachers work hard to prepare lessons and we feel their efforts to begin their day prepared merit reward.

To cancel an appointment with notice, please email us at lessons
@theguitarboutique.com or contact the service representative at the store via telephone at 905-668-7210 for Whitby.  Please note, due to your music teacher’s busy schedule, they are not responsible for rescheduling cancelled appointments, so make sure you contact the store’s service representative.
