Höfner 173 1965 Red Vinyl Electric Guitar with Hard Case

Höfner 173 1965 Red Vinyl Electric Guitar with Hard Case

This 1965 Höfner 173 combines striking red vinyl covering with the distinctive styling of a classic German electric guitar. Its sculpted solid body and three-pickup configuration give it plenty of vintage character, with a textured appearance that stands out on stage or in a collection.

A master volume and three individual tone controls provide flexible sound shaping, allowing players to explore the character of each pickup. The red vinyl covering adds a particularly appealing period detail, reflecting Höfner’s adventurous approach to guitar design during the 1960s.

Presented in excellent condition, this vintage Höfner includes a hard case.
